This role is posted in Plymouth to reach skilled local carpenters. All projects are based in Ashland, NH, and the nearby Central NH/Lakes Region.

About the Role

Center Carpentry is hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter to lead hands-on production on residential remodels, additions, and custom builds.

We work for homeowners who value quality, communication, and long-term relationships. If you take pride in your work and enjoy leading by example on the jobsite, you'll fit in well here.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily production on residential jobsites
• Work hands-on across framing, trim, cabinetry, windows/doors, siding, and finish work
• Plan daily work, sequencing, and material needs
• Coordinate and oversee specialty subcontractors
• Train and mentor apprentices and carpenters
• Maintain clean, organized, and protected jobsites
• Communicate progress with the Project Manager
• Use JobTread for daily logs and updates

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of residential carpentry experience (custom & finish work)
• Proven ability to lead small crews
• Strong skills in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and exterior work
• Reliable transportation to Ashland-area jobsites
• Professional hand tools and jobsite presence
• Organized, accountable, and team-oriented mindset
